The 1st online short film festival for young filmmakers from Greece, Turkey and around the Balkans hosts its first annual Festival for Balkan filmmakers. The Festival will beconducted online and is open to anyone up to the age of 35 years old who is from Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Macedonia FYR, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia and Turkey.

Hurry up! Submissions are limited to 360 minutes. Films must be under 15 minutes, and they will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until a total of 360 minutes of film has been submitted.

You are the jury! The audience will have the opportunity to choose the winners by voting online. Put your best critique forward as the best all-around critic will receive “The Jury’s Best Critique Award”.

Win many, many prizes! Prizes range from full-tuition for a three-year filmmaking degree, courtesy of AMC Metropolitan College to production equipment and a range of filmmaking services.

The Festival will close with an awards ceremony in Athens that will be broadcast online with English subtitles. Submissions will be open on Aug 16th. Full details and rules will be posted online at the Festival website. Watch this space for more information.
